Purge-it! can remove data from all of the main JDEdwards World/EnterpriseOne modules. Each Purge-it! module functions seamlessly with the JDEdwards system, allowing the deletion and summarisation of data once all related data has been checked for validity. The amount of data removed by each run is within the full control of the data manager. Purge-it! modules can be configured to run with varying degrees of validation and can optionally call other modules to purge related data at the same time.

Inventory Module Features

• Transactions within the Item Ledger support item balances which means it is not possible to simply delete them withou impacting other data. Purge-it! can summarise transactions at up to 5 levels set by a combination of document type and age:

• One record per Business Unit/Item/Location/Lot/Period/Document-Type (Summary)
• One record per Business Unit/Item/Location/Lot/Period/Document-Type
• One record per Business Unit/Item/Location/Lot/Period/Document-Type/Document-Number
• One record per Business Unit/Item/Location/Lot/Document-Type/Document-Number/GL-Date
• No Summarisation

• Switchable validation rules allow for integrity checking on Purchasing, Sales and Manufacturing prior to summarisation
