Availability of GRNI for QFinancials ("Aquila") RNV Users

Whilst GRNI for JDEdwards is not an upgrade to the QFinancials (formally "Aquila") RNV module, we recognise that the advanced functionality of GRNI will be attractive to its users. Therefore we are pleased to offer a 70% discount on GRNI list prices to QFinancials RNV clients who have continued to purchase product maintenance.

Frequently Asked Questions about GRNI vs. RNV

Isn't GRNI an upgrade to QFinancials ("Aquila") RNV?
GRNI is not simply an upgrade to the QFinancials RNV module. GRNI is a completely separate product that has been developed by Klik IT. Work started on this product in 2003, prior to Klik IT taking over maintenance responsibility for QFinancials from QSoftware. GRNI does contain processing similar to the QFinancials RNV module, but it provides much greater functionality using different methodologies.

Who developed QFinancials ("Aquila") RNV?
QFinancials was originally developed and marketed by QSoftware Global Limited under the brand name "AQuila". In 2004, Klik IT took on the maintenance liability for QFinancials from QSoftware and continue to provide help and support to users of the QFinancials software.

If GRNI isn't an upgrade to RNV, why give discount?
We recognise that some of the functionality of GRNI is similar to that of QFinancials RNV. Whilst Klik IT did not develop or market RNV, we feel it would be unfair for RNV users to pay for the same functionality again, hence the 70% discount.

If we purchase a GRNI license, what happens to the unexpired portion of our RNV maintenance?
Any unexpired portion of RNV maintenance will carried towards your first year of GRNI maintenance. GRNI maintenance is set at 20% of the product list price (not the discounted price you pay).

We stopped paying for RNV maintenance, can we still get discount?
Unfortunately, the 70% discount applies only to RNV users who have continued their product maintenance agreement with Klik IT. However, please contact us to discuss your situation.

If I don't purchase a GRNI license, will you continue to support QFinancials RNV?
Yes, Klik IT has not announced any plans to end support for QFinancials software.
